The Ensalada Solidaria Cap Vermell is returning once again this season to the menus of all its Cap Vermell Group restaurants. This act of solidarity forms part of a series of activities that have been carried out by Cap Vermell Group and that adhere to its robust corporate social responsibility policy.
Solidarity is one of the identifying traits that characterises this business group with its head office in Canyamel.
The Ensalada Solidaria Cap Vermell, created by two of the best Cap Vermell Group chefs, is a healthy and flavoursome dish featuring a creative combination of fresh and wholesome foods such as a variety of lettuces, cherry tomatoes, goat’s cheese, asparagus and strawberries, to name just a few.
50% of everything earned through their sales will go in its entirety to the Balearic Association for children with rare diseases, with which Cap Vermell Group has already collaborated on previous occasions.
Abaimar was founded in 2009 with the aim of raising public awareness on the existence of several unknown and highly unusual diseases that affect children; to contribute to the life quality and expectancy of those affected by these conditions; to offer help and advice to parents; and to seek the media and institutional support necessary to achieve progress in scientific research and the development of effective medical treatments.
On their website www.asociacionabaimar.es there is detailed information about their history and work, and specific instructions for anyone interested in forming part of the project by making a donation or becoming a member of the organisation.
As well as the restaurants Hedonist Club, in Cap Vermell Country Club, and Vintage 1934, in Cap Vermell Beach Hotel, that were both pioneers of the initiative, this year the Cafè Sa Plaça, the Balearic and the Pool Bar will also join in the project, all located on the Park Hyatt Mallorca hotel site that belongs to Cap Vermell Group.Mallorca
