The business group Cap Vermell hosted its second Christmas cookie workshop with children from Aspanob (Balearic Island Association of Parents of Children with Cancer) at Park Hyatt Mallorca last Saturday, 15th December.
Approximately thirty participants attended with their parents, accompanied by the association chairman, Jaume Coll.
Awaiting them was the hotel’s executive chef, Gregory Goulot, to spend a fun morning with them and his entire kitchen staff kneading dough and decorating cookies using a typical Christmas recipe. The cookies were individually packaged for the children to take home and enjoy with their families.
After the baking session, the hotel resort owned by Cap Vermell Group offered a hearty lunch to all guests, parents and children, at the restaurant Balearic and then, the children were able to write and drop off their letters to Santa Claus.
The exceptional Christmas event ended with a performance by Coral Gabellina which sang popular Christmas carols for all those in attendance.
A large team of volunteers from Cap Vermell Endavant and Hyatt Thrive, as well as the hotel’s Managing Director, Franck Sibille, and the Directors of Human Resources at Cap Vermell Group, Ana Méndez, and Park Hyatt Mallorca, Mariola Hernández, actively participated throughout the day so all the children and their parents could feel right at home.Cap Vermell
